Bradford Voegeli

Bradford Voegeli joined NLSP in 2014, serving as a staff attorney and then the managing attorney for the housing practice. In 2019, he became the Director of Private Attorney Involvement. His office is in NLSP's headquarters at 64 New York Avenue, NE.

From the outset of his legal career, Bradford has focused on addressing gaps in legal services and ensuring access to justice for all.  Adhering to principles of community lawyering, Bradford has assisted in the design and implementation of several initiatives to secure affordable housing and extend economic opportunity in underserved and indigent neighborhoods.

Bradford received his J.D. from American University and his LL.M from the University of the District of Columbia. Before joining NLSP, he was an instructor in the Community Development Law Clinic at UDC – David A. Clarke School of Law.  As a law student, Bradford co-founded the “Take Back Your Home” (TBYH) project, following a system that he created for tracking foreclosures, identifying homeowners, training volunteers, and organizing teams to visit residents in neighborhoods hit hardest by the foreclosure crisis. In recognition of Bradford’s efforts, the American University – Washington College of Law honored him in 2011 with the Public Interest Entrepreneur Award.
