Bret P. Denning joined Neighborhood Legal Services Program in November 2011 as the Director of Development. He spent the past seven years doing fundraising and development for immigrant focused social service organizations in New York City before moving to Washington, DC to join NLSP.
Prior to entering the non-profit world, Bret worked in the marketing/ promotions department of an international publishing company. He was recently invited to join the Board of Directors of Exit Poverty, an organization dedicated to ending poverty in Africa through micro-enterprise development.
Bret is a graduate of The University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the Massachusetts School of Law. He is excited to be working with NLSP to address the many challenges facing low-income residents of Washington, DC.
