Jobseeker Legal Clinic: Breaking Barriers to Employment

Are you a job seeker or a recently hired employee? Are you having difficulties getting or keeping a job?

Come to one of these Jobseeker Clinics and meet with an attorney from Neighborhood Legal Services Program (NLSP) to find out if you have a barrier to employment that a lawyer may be able to help you resolve. You can get information about issues such as criminal record sealing, credit reports, background checks, obtaining driving and professional licenses, resolving back child support arrearages, wage theft, and other issues.

Advanced appointment is not necessary, but highly appreciated.

To sign up for a consultation or for more information, please visit or call the Adult Reference desk. The Neighborhood Legal Services Program provides free legal advice, information and representation to low-income District residents.

Time: 11:00am to 2:00pm
