DCPL-NLSP Jobseeker Legal Clinics and Presentations.

The Breaking Barriers to Employment Project of the Neighborhood Legal Services Program (NLSP) has partnered with the DC Public Library (DCPL) to better assist jobseekers overcome legal problems that may be hindering their job search. We are holding a series of legal clinics and presentations at various branches of the DC Public Library. Please find below our schedule of our Jobseeker Legal Clinics and Breaking Barriers to Employment Presentations. If you know any jobseeker with a legal issue, please refer to one of our clinics or presentations, or to NLSP's general intake Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at 202-832-NLSP.

DCPL-NLSP Jobseeker Legal Clinic

Are you a job seeker or a recently hired employee? Are you having difficulties getting or keeping a job? Come to one of our Jobseeker Legal Clinics at the DC Public Library (DCPL). You can meet one-on-one with an attorney from Neighborhood Legal Services Program (NLSP) to find out if you have a barrier to employment that an attorney may be able to help you resolve. You can get information about issues such as criminal record sealing, credit reports, background checks, obtaining driving and professional licenses, resolving back child support arrearages, wage theft, and other issues.
