Alfred MillerParalegal, Economic Security Unit
Alfred Miller, a dedicated paralegal, has devoted his career to advocating for justice and the rights of individuals and families in Maryland and Washington, DC. Alfred began his paralegal journey in 2015 at Meyers, Rodbell & Rosenbaum, PA, focusing on alcohol licensing and medical malpractice. It was during this time that his passion for helping medical malpractice victims and their families took root, driving his commitment to the legal field.
In September 2023, Alfred achieved a significant milestone by graduating from Georgetown University's Law Center PJI paralegal program, further enhancing his knowledge and skills in the legal arena.
Beyond his legal pursuits, Alfred carries a profound dedication to addressing the issues surrounding mass incarceration. He has found a deep sense of purpose in empowering both currently and formerly incarcerated individuals as they re-enter society. This commitment underscores his strong belief in second chances and the potential for positive change in people's lives.
Before embarking on his legal career, Alfred's primary passion was sports. He demonstrated his talent and leadership on the basketball court and earned a full men's basketball scholarship to the University of Central Florida. During his time at the university, he not only excelled in sports but also displayed his leadership qualities by serving as a three-year team captain.
In his personal life, Al’s mother is his best friend and biggest supporter. Alfred is a devoted family man and loving father to three children - Honor, Amen, and Indigo. These family bonds provide the foundation for his dedication to making a positive impact in the world, both through the legal profession and his commitment to social justice causes. Alfred Miller stands as a testament to the pursuit of justice, empowerment, and the unwavering belief in the potential for change and progress in the lives of individuals and communities.
