Marka Belinfanti

Marka Belinfanti is the Director of Private Attorney Involvement. She manages the range of pro bono resources that are generously provided to NLSP by members of the private bar, government attorneys, law school students, in-house legal departments, and paralegal programs in the District of Columbia.
Before joining NLSP, Marka served as the Assistant Director of Pro Bono at Columbia Law School, where she advised students about the New York State pro bono requirement and the law school's pro bono guidelines. In her role, Marka focused on building relationships with public interest organizations and government agencies to create meaningful volunteer opportunities and increase access to justice for New York City residents. Prior to Columbia, Marka counseled students at Fordham Law on all aspects of employment and professional development. She also worked as an associate attorney at various New York law firms specializing in consumer and class action litigation. She began her legal career as a staff attorney at the Legal Aid Society representing clients regarding unlawful evictions, succession claims, and public benefits.
Marka holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and a B.A. from Bowdoin College. She is admitted to practice in New York and Washington D.C.
