Mary-Elizabeth PrattExecutive Assistant
Mary-Elizabeth Pratt is the Executive Assistant to Karen Newton Cole and serves as NLSP’s staff liaison to the NLSP Board of Directors.
Prior to joining NLSP in 2023, Mary-Elizabeth worked in the non-profit and government contracting sectors as an executive assistant, data analyst, and social media specialist with organizations such as Fisher House Foundation, the US Army, and US Air Force.
Mary-Elizabeth grew up in rural southern Ohio where she saw the effects of poverty on communities firsthand. She graduated as a first-generation college student from Wittenberg University with a BA in History, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and writer for the student newspaper, The Torch. After Wittenberg, Mary-Elizabeth enlisted in the US Coast Guard and proudly served across the Northern Hemisphere for six years.
She is now an alumna chapter advisor for Kappa Delta Sorority – Alpha Rho chapter at the University of Maryland, a member of Team RWB and the American Legion, and an avid fan of the Bengals, Reds, and Capitals.
