Paris M. Scott, J.D., is a strategic development professional with over a decade of experience driving growth for mission-driven organizations. With a unique background that intersects law, social justice, and philanthropy, Paris takes a holistic approach to fundraising, specializing in building and optimizing sustainable development architectures that connect organizational mission and donor passion with critical community needs.

 

Her career is defined by a commitment to empowering vulnerable populations across the various social determinants of health, happiness, and future success. To advance this mission, Paris has led national and global fundraising strategies for major institutions, including the American Red Cross, America Achieves, and the We Mean Business Coalition. She is noted for her work in equity-centered fundraising, ensuring that engagement strategies are rooted in cultural understanding to honor and better serve diverse populations. Notable achievements include leading the $17M Sound the Alarm campaign to protect at-risk communities from home fires and operationalizing the fundraising case for support for the Sickle Cell Initiative.

 

Paris holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University. An avid traveler and lifelong learner, she is passionate about the arts, regularly visiting museums and attending the ballet and theater, while broadening her perspective through international travel. She remains deeply committed to community service, dedicating her spare time to serving as the volunteer Executive Director of NAMI Rome Inc., as well as other community centric engagements.
