Sade Clarke Staff Attorney
Sade Clarke joined Neighborhood Legal Services Program in November 2024. She is a Staff Attorney in the Economic Security Unit.
Sade is a recent cum laude graduate of The University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law (UDC Law), where she graduated a semester early. At UDC Law, Sade served as the President of Phi Alpha Delta, Cahn Chapter, and the Chair of the Wellness Committee. Committed to improving mental health and wellness for law students, Sade worked with UDC’s administration to streamline exam procedures and incorporate wellness activities throughout the year.
Sade found a way to happily marry her passion for the law across three fields: intellectual property, tax, and consumer law through self-study, internships, and law school clinical trainings (Community Development Law Clinic & Tax Clinic). She understands that advocacy is fluid and can take many forms. Sade places a high value on being a well-rounded advocate.
Before law school, Sade obtained her B.A. in Liberal Arts from Central High School of Philadelphia in 2013, the only high school in the U.S. permitted to issue honorary degrees upon graduation in lieu of a diploma, for academic excellence. In 2016, Sade graduated from The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, with her B.S. in Psychology: Neuroscience Concentration.
