NLSP and DC Public Library are excited to announce the restrat of our partnership and programs with the launch of two new virtual series.
Tenants Rights Tuesdays
On Tuesday July 14, NLSP is restarting our DC Public Library program with new virtual sessions.
Are you worried about your housing situation? Wondering what will happen after the public health emergency? Are you confused about what your landlord can and cannot do?
Join us on Tuesdays at Noon to find out the answers to these questions and any others you have about your housing situation,
Attorneys from NLSP will provide you with information about your rights as a tenant and new rights you have during and after the public health emergency. We will also discuss what is happening at landlord tenant court during this time.
Workshops are every Tuesday at Noon on Webex.

Legal Workshop - New Protections for Student Loan Borrowers
Were your student loans unaffordable prior to the public health emergency? Were your loans in default?
This hour long presentation by NLSP attorneys will provide you with information about new protections for student loan borrowers. Specifically, you will learn about ways you can be prepared for the end of emergency-related protections so that you can ensure that your loans are affordable and/or remain out of default after September 30, 2020.
You will also receive important information about ways to protect your credit report during the public health emergency.
