Lorens HolmStaff Attorney
Lorens Holm is a Staff Attorney helping NLSP Housing Unit clients with eviction defense, conditions, and public housing matters. Originally from rural Wisconsin, Lorens completed their Juris Doctor through a hybrid model at Mitchell Hamline School of Law and was admitted to the DC bar in 2023. Their purpose for obtaining a legal education was, and is, to advocate for the working class.
Over their early studies, Lorens labored in agriculture, food service, manufacturing, and retail. After completing their B.A. in Women’s Studies, Lorens worked in social services, education, federal advocacy, and as a paralegal. They have a 25-year history of community service and draw on their work, volunteer, and personal experience to imagine and strive for a better life for working people.
